Privacy Policy
What we collect when you visit this site or send us a brief, what we do with it, and how to get it removed.

Who this policy covers
This policy explains what ConfigStudio does with information collected through this website. It covers visitors to the site and agencies who send us a brief or get in touch.
It does not cover the websites we build for our clients. Those run under the client agency’s own brand and privacy policy, and any data collected there is governed by that agency’s terms, not ours.
Information you give us
When you send a brief or contact us, we collect what you choose to put in the form: your name, email address, agency name, the platform you need, your budget range, and whatever project detail you write in the message field.
We ask for this only to scope the work and reply with a quote. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for payment card details, bank information, or client credentials through this website.
Information collected automatically
We use analytics to understand which pages get read and where visitors arrive from. This sets cookies in your browser and processes technical data including your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view on this site.
We also use advertising pixels from platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn. These place cookies that let those platforms recognise visitors to this site and measure whether an ad led to a brief. That means those platforms receive data about your visit and may match it to an existing account you hold with them.
You can refuse or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and both platforms offer their own ad preference controls. Blocking them does not affect your ability to read the site or send us a brief.
How we use the information
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote. To deliver and support work you have engaged us for. To understand which parts of the site are useful and measure whether our advertising reaches the right agencies.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share your brief with anyone outside the people working on it.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf: our website host, our email provider, the analytics platform, and the advertising platforms named above. Each sees only what their function requires.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Beyond that, nothing leaves ConfigStudio.
Client data and confidentiality
During an engagement we often receive access to systems belonging to your clients. That access is handled under the NDA terms described on our NDA and FAQ page: least-privilege access only, credentials kept in a password manager rather than plain text, and access revoked when the work closes.
We do not use client data for any purpose other than delivering the work it was shared for, and we never use it to train models or build our own datasets.
How long we keep it
Briefs and correspondence are kept while we are in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have context if you return with related work. Records tied to a completed engagement are kept as long as needed for accounting and contractual purposes.
If you want your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of analytics and advertising cookies through your browser or the relevant platform’s settings. You can ask to stop receiving email from us at any time and we will stop.
To make any of these requests, email us at the address below.
Security
We use least-privilege access, a password manager for credentials, and encrypted connections. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your data or your clients’ data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or a request about your data, can go to hello@configstudio.com and we will respond directly.
